Xypex Products Used to Remediate Dam Structure
Copes Creek Dam, built in the late 1940's, is situated above Falls Creek in the Alpine area of Victoria. The Dam serves as regulating pondage for Pretty Valley Dam, part of AGL southern hydro scheme. Copes Creek Dam is subjected to extreme seasonal conditions, including freeze thaw deterioration of the concrete due to the extensive snow coverage and cold temperatures.
